Το Balkan Can Kino είναι ένα αυτοοργανωμένο κινηματογραφικό εγχείρημα με βάση το Μεταξουργείο και φιλοξενείται στο ισόγειο του Communitism.
Κάθε Παρασκευή & Σάββατο, από τον Δεκέμβριο του 2017, προβάλλονται ταινίες σύγχρονης, ανεξάρτητης παραγωγής του ελληνικού και παγκόσμιου κινηματογράφου.
Στο πρόγραμμά του έχουν κατατεθεί πάνω από 3000 ταινίες. Ταινίες μυθοπλασίας, ντοκιμαντέρ και πειραματικές, μικρού και μεγάλου μήκους. Μέσα από εβδομαδιαίες προβολές το πρόγραμμα που επιλέγετε θέλει να παρουσιάσει διαφορετικές κουλτούρες και κοινότητες, πρωτοεμφανιζόμενους σκηνοθέτες, γυναίκες σκηνοθέτιδες, queer κινηματογράφο, κλπ. Οι προβολές γίνονται με ελεύθερη είσοδο.
Το μακροπρόθεσμο σχέδιο είναι η προσβάσιμη σε όλους κινηματογραφική εκπαίδευση.

Through the dance we will show the strength of the protagonists who must stand daily in this wild world that does not stop for anyone, the perseverance they have in their lives, their intimate struggles won and lost, as well as the deep sensitivity that each of them has.

While following Jemima, a little curious girl who wanders through dusty roads, crowded markets, slaughterhouses, furnaces and bat hunters we get acquainted with three women who describe the harsh realities of being born female and deaf in a society that discriminates against both women and people with disabilities.
The stories of Immaculée, Sylvie and Stuka are stories of everyday struggle against marginalization, abuse and oppression, but despite the insurmountable obstacles imposed on them by society, the protagonists show us how their strong and undefeated will allows them to take hold of their fate every single day and reveals the beautiful resilience of the human spirit.
